I am a dreamer who is simultaneously in love with and frustrated by the world. I started this blog to chronicle my 7 months in Ghana, working as a Gender Advisor with the YMCA.  I often say that I want to change the world, but that isn’t my goal here.  I have so much to learn and I plan to soak up as much information and collect as many new experiences as I can.  If along the way I also manage to make positive contributions through my work, I’ll feel pretty darn good.

I have my MA in International Development Studies and you can read more about my thesis work here.
